With a grateful heart I praise God for his goodness. Two weeks ago this deadline seemed unreachable, but His ways are bigger than mine.

As the deadline was approaching, my sister sent me Matthew 6:26: Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

When life is uncertain, when anxiety hits, when unexpected events occur, we have to remember that God provides for the birds-every single morning. We don’t need to know where we’re going, we don’t need to know the answers, we don’t have to have it all figured out, we just have to trust.

When we are faithful, He is faithful. I submitted to Him, got on my knees, and watched the blessings pour out. This process has allowed me to learn how to trust Him completely. If He has changed me this much in a matter of months, I can’t imagine what He’ll do with a year.

It’s a beautiful thing to watch life unfold. Just when I think I have it figured out and try to grab the steering wheel, he takes a turn. The past few months have taught me that the ride is full of more joy if I throw my hands up in the air, feel the wind on my face, and thank Him for the ride.

To those who donated, thank you.

To those who talked me through my emotional moments, thank you.

To those who gave their time, thank you.

To those who laughed and danced with me, thank you.

To those who have covered me in prayer over and over again, thank you.

To those who support me from afar, thank you.

To those who love me for me, thank you.

To my heavenly Father, whom I owe all praise, thank you.

The birds are okay, and so am I.
