How may prayers have it taken to get here?
To find life in the valley
to sit long enough to watch the wildflowers bloom
to dip my feet in the stream of living water
to feel the wind blowing through my hair.
I breath deep and I’m reminded
that old that things have passed away
and all things are become new.
Find good soil
plant a seed
and watch it grow.
Rest under the stars, knowing
tomorrow, the sun will rise again.
